The design team led by Alan once again attended 52nd edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 9th – 14th April 2013, which showcased the latest in home-furnishing design from Italy and around the globe. Since 1961, thousands of design professionals have descended on the Milan Fairgrounds in Rho, Italy, to discover the latest trends and product launches.
Salone Internazionale del Mobile was impressive once again, with this year’s themes Craftsmanship & Design: Together for Industry. The exhibition explored the integration of traditional craftsmanship with modern technological possibilities. With over 2,500 Italian and foreign exhibitors attending, some 324,093 visitors overall. 285,698 of them from within the sector, with 160 different countries represented, accounting for 68% of total presences, which has become a global event.

The Salone Internazionale del Mobile is now into its 56 edition – the earliest of the 5 exhibitions under the umbrella of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, is gearing up yet again to be the focus of international attention. The Salone Internazionale del Mobile is split into three sections: Classic, Design and xLux, the latter dedicated to timeless luxury reworked with a contemporary touch, which was launched successfully last time round.
